   Welcome to BigSteel Videos

I recently bought a computer based video camera.  You'll need the latest version of real player to be able to view these.

Yet more crazy stuff from the Frightener of Steel.  In this video, taken in the summer of 2001, I am juggling three eight pound shot puts in my condo.  And kids, please don't try this at home!
Here I am bending a 60-penny nail and then pounding the ends closer with my hand.  Since these videos aren't the clearest in the world let me explain what I am doing.  First, in order to get myself in the shot I bent down on one knee.  I've never bent a nail this way before, and it wasn't up to my full bending standards of speed and easiness.  In order to make the file smaller I had a 12" washcloth folded up and ready to put over the top of the "V"-shaped bend.  The first hits were tentative so that I could make sure the nail was stable and in position.  Once everything was perfect I hit it hard.  When hear the grunts, that is is when the nail is actually bending.  Enjoy.  Kids, definitely don't try this at home.  I'm not kidding, you will break your hands.

In this video I am bending the Ironmind blue bar with 1/2-inch cut off.  This video was taken immediately after the 60-penny pounding video above, so I felt I was a little off.

In this next video I am breaking a "Pole Barn Nail."  These nails are not very thick, but they are tempered steel.  They bend about 2" before that snap, like a gunshot.  Turn your speakers up to get the full effect!
